Change Excerpt Length

Die Previewtexte auf der Startseite unterscheiden sich im Default leicht voneinander. Der erste Post hat ein etwas längeres Preview als die anderen. Das lässt sich allerdings ganz einfach ändern.

Ohne Bilder würde das im default so aussehen:

The excerpts differ a little in their lenght. The first post is a bit longer than all of the other ones. But you can change up both values very easily.

Um das zu tun, wechselt ins HTML und sucht nach: summary_noimg = 1000; Das ist die Anzahl Zeichen, die im ersten Post angezeigt werden. Etwas tiefer findet ihr die variable summary_noimg noch einmal. Das ist der Wert für alle anderen Posts.

Wenn ihr happy seid, speichern und fertig.

To change that just open up your HTML and search for summary_noimg = 1000; That's the amount of characters used for the excerpt of the first post. A little further in the code, you will find the variable summary_noimg again. That's the number for all of the other posts. Change the numbers up and if you're happy with them, save your changes and you're done.
